The firm

A Christchurch accounting firm built on proactive advice — not just compliance.

Eastmure & Associates was established on a simple principle: that good accounting is proactive, not reactive.

Our story

Built for the clients most firms don't understand.

Eastmure & Associates Limited is a Christchurch-based accounting firm working with medical professionals, trades businesses, and SMEs throughout New Zealand.

We were established on a simple principle: that good accounting is proactive, not reactive. It anticipates problems before they become expensive. It structures your affairs to protect what you've built. And it should give you clarity — not confusion.

As a sole-practitioner firm, every client works directly with an experienced accountant. There are no juniors handling your returns while the partner stays invisible. You deal with the same person every time — someone who knows your business, your goals, and your history.

We provide a nationwide service and don't charge for travel. If you're not in Christchurch, that's not a barrier.

How we work

01

Direct advice

We tell you what we think. Not what you want to hear — what will actually make a difference. If something in your structure isn't working, we'll say so.

02

Proactive, not reactive

We don't wait for you to ask. If we spot an opportunity or a risk in your numbers, we raise it. That's what an advisory relationship should look like.

03

Specialist focus

We work with two types of clients — medical professionals and trades businesses. That focus means we understand your world deeply, not superficially.

04

Fixed fees

No hourly billing surprises. We agree on a scope and a price upfront. You always know what you're paying and what you're getting.
